All winners. Goodwill Industries of Michiana Inc. presented three awards earlier this week.

The Graduate of the Year is Betty Tacy. Betty is employed by AIDS Ministries/AIDS Assist. She has overcome some personal challenges through the help of Goodwill. She was placed at AIDS Ministries/AIDS Assist as a care coordinator.

James Steward won the Achiever of the Year Award for demonstrating both a belief in putting his life back together and living out his dreams with Goodwill's encouragement that he could achieve a better life. He is employed by Goodwill Industries of Michiana Inc. since August 2004.

The Business of the Year went to Marquette Mall Properties, Michigan City. This company has gone above and beyond by partnering with Goodwill in hosting a job fair in September.

J. Larry Neff, president and CEO of Goodwill, made the announcements.
