Tickets are on sale for the 49th Pageant of Drums Drum & Bugle Corps Show. It is co-sponsored by the Michigan City Summer Festival Committee and the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps. The show will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at Ames Field.

This year's show features eight corps in competition and one in exhibition.

Also appearing are the two-time World Champion Madison Scouts, Madison, Wis.; 2009 Presidential Inauguration Parade participant Colts, Dubuque, Iowa; Glassmen, Toledo, Ohio; Blue Stars, LaCrosse, Wis.; Spirit, Jacksonville, Ala.; Legends, Kalamazoo, Mich.; and Dutch Boy, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Appearing in exhibition will be The Classic Cavaliers. The Michigan City High School Wolfpack Marching Band will perform "The Star Spangled Banner" and "O Canada."

Tickets are available seven days a week at Evergreen Furniture, 2050 E. U.S. 20. Center Section reserved seats between the 35 yard lines are $25. East and West Section reserved seats are $20. There is a group discount for purchases of 20 or more tickets.

Fans are urged to purchase tickets early as 2,200 reserved seats are available. Due to the economy this year, 800 general sdmission tickets are being made available in the Family Section. Adults can purchase a $20 ticket in this section and bring up to three kids 13 and under free on show night. No tickets are needed for kids in the Family Section. A special Drum & Bugle Corps concert, the Eighth Celebration of Music, will take place Saturday, July 4, at Millennium Plaza. The performing corps and concert time will be announced at a later date. The concert is free.
