There has been some talk here and there in a few different threads about having another get together Meet & Greet.
SSder thinks something Holiday-ish and i will be in town over Christmas and New Years. Since a lot of MC's transplants may (or may not) come home for Christmas as well, I think this would be an excellent time to plan one. So, here goes.. Pick a time and location of where you think it would be fun to meet. We will make a poll of where to go, and an RSVP poll. Once we know where we want to go and approximately how many of us will be there, one of the Admin members will make the arrangements to have a spot reserved for our group. The first one was a blast. Not many of us showed up, but we all had a great time. You can view pics of our first CBTL Meet & Greet here: http://www.citybythelake.org/forums/index....ther&st=120 My suggestion is a Sunday Brunch at Moe's on December 21st. ...My suggestion is a Sunday Brunch at Moe's on December 21st. That sounds great, except they're not open for brunch. We could do dinner there, Tuesday through Sunday. Check out the website: Sahara |

I would enjoy a CBTL meet and greet and am available most weekends. Tuesday and Wednesday nights are typically bad for me .
Tuesday I regularly attend School Board meetings, yes, even though I was not elected to the Board I will still attend meetings . Wednesday's are Cub Scout Den meeting night at Pine Elementary School. And soccer with the MC Soccer Club is done until the spring . Eric Hanke Welcome to the Michigan City Area Schools, we are over budget, over paid, overwhelmed ... |

How does December 20th or 21st work for people? That is the weekend before Christmas? I imagine we should look at a date and time that works, and then try to find a place that can fit around that.
Thoughts? |

I will be travelling on the 20th and probably won't roll in till some time in the wee hours of the morning (18 hour drive!) so the 21st will be best for me.

I know our organization would love to be at this, but I don't think the date works, as our director will be out of town for Christmas. Now, that's not to say our assistant director or secretary couldn't come, but I know that the director would love to be there to "meet and greet." Maybe sometime in between Thanksgiving and Christmas, like Friday at 5PM at Dino's on the 28th (of November), 5th, 12th, or 19th of December? Just a suggestion, as I am definitely a newbie to this forum and look forward to getting to know people on it.

Just a bunch of folks getting together at one of our favorite local establishments and talking about what interests us. |

If enough people RSVP(minimum 20), Moe will be more than happy to accomodate a Saturday or Sunday lunch just for CTBL at Sahara.

I'll be there, wherever there is. Who's going to be the designated driver? I happen to be a proffesional designated driver. I can blow a 0.000 365 days a year, and Dave I know where you live. On the down side........I drive that sleek sporty two seater, it will require a second trip for Adrian. |
