Representatives of the ALCOA Foundation presented a grant for $39,500 to Michigan City High School during the MCAS School Board Meeting on January 26. The funding will support the expansion of the Project Lead the Way engineering program at MCHS next fall, adding a new dual-credit course in Computer Integrated Manufacturing. This course will teach students skills that are in high demand by ALCOA and other employers in LaPorte County.
