I think the lady on 421 deserves the post. She's a woman, so minority issues would be minimized. She also drives, which means she doesn't likely have substance abuse issues -- and would be easy to transfer to another district when the inevitable scandal rears its ugly head. Dabagia, with his roots right here in this area, was not a good candidate for strategic transfer/recycling, so his career unfortunately started and stalled right here.
 Churches and schools should not be havens for creeps.

Last summer (it was actually parade day) I went into "The Duke" to buy something cold to drink (which has recently changed it's name to $ave BTW) on Boulevard across from DeVries Firestone and Mary was in front of my buying cigarettes, she followed me across the Boulevard to my friends house and she dang near fell off the porch in a stupor. She sat on the porch telling us all kinds of wild stories, she said her granddaughter was one of the child beauty queens riding on a convertible in the parade. She later asked if I would give her a ride across town, I think she was actually trying to proposition me. I told her I promised to take my friends grandkids to get ice cream and there wasn't going to be enough room for her in my vehicle, so I loaded them all up in my Jeep and took them all to Bubbles for Ice Cream. I still see Mary walking up and down the Boulevard from time to time. |
