Do we expect better results/teams from the winter sports than we got this fall? Are the boys and girls basketball teams going to be contenders for the DAC or sectionals?

I'd call the boys team sectional favorites right now. Not sure about the girls team.

I agree I think the Boys team is Sectional favorites. Girls are young and will be inexperienced.

I believe the tough schedule will prepare them for sectionals. The LaLu game should be interesting this year.

It will be a really tough schedule, no doubt. Honestly the DAC schedule might be the easiest thing they have all year.

And as much as I love this squad, City is going to get whipped by LaLu. That is a college team they are running out there, and a good one at that. We have got some talent, but not THAT kind of talent.

Opening home game tonight for the boys. SB Riley visits fresh off of their semi-state run.

It's early but doesn't sound like a sectional championship team in the making.

Anybody wanting to go to the LaLu game needs to buy their tickets in advance at the athletic office. LaLu is sold out and their is only a limited number of tickets available for Michigan City. Ticket prices are $10.00.

That was a fun game to watch as a fan of basketball. LaLu probably had 10 kids on that roster who will play D1 ball, and a couple who have a shot at the NBA. 11 college coaches were there, including Roy Williams, and Jon Scheyer representing Duke.
