Door Village Harvest Festival Saturday, September 8, 2012 - Sunday, September 9, 2012 7:00AM - 3:00PM This year's festival will have something for everyone. There will be many exhibits, booths, demonstrations, tours and activities for all to enjoy. Some of the popular activities are the Historic Horse and Wagon tours of Door Village, the Living Cemetery Tour, Civil War Camp, 1832 Settler Camp, Native American Indian Camp, 1860 Vintage Baseball Game, the high quality arts and craft vendors, and the Antique Autos, Trucks, and Tractors display. Special entertainment will include the Good Time Cloggers, Dave Farris and the Shades of Gray, the Michiana Metro Barbershop Quartet, Agility Dog Demonstrations, animals from the Washington Park Zoo, miniature train rides, the Michiana Clown Show, and the extremely popular Cripple Creek singers. Saturday, September 8, 2012 4:00PM - 10:00PM Keep the summer going with local music, food, and brew at the 2nd Annual Jammin' for the Dunes Festival. The event benefits Save the Dunes-a local not-for-profit group that works to protect the waters and natural areas of northwest Indiana. Listen to the music of local bands while you enjoy brews and foods from local vendors including Shoreline Brewery. Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Save the Dunes and become part of a fabulous grass-roots organization working to improve area water quality and promote and preserve the environment and shoreline of Indiana’s portion of Lake Michigan.
