QUOTE Political Notebook Mayor Chuck Oberlie, who is seeking re-election, said a final campaign rally will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at the St. Joe Club, 2001 Franklin St. The free event includes food, refreshments and music. The public is invited. “I am looking forward to Election Day, and Sunday will be another opportunity for the citizens of Michigan City to meet me and the many individuals that have helped Michigan City progress over the last four years,” said Oberlie. “On Tuesday, together we can continue on this path of success and progress even further by igniting a spirit of unity across all the neighborhoods of Michigan City.” |

Great!! free booze, free food...what other reason would there be to go? To watch other politicians get thoroughly enebriated and dance a polka. On another note, if anyone goes to this, tell Steve-The Bartender I said Hi. He's my ex. Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind~Dr. Suess

Informed: What's wrong? You only wrote a 1 line response...... Its seems as though Oberlies camp is scrambling for votes (expensive mailers, phone calls, big signs on empty lots, goofy radio spots, etc.) whatever happens, let's hope that enough citizens are fed up with the status quo and vote for a change in the administration on May 8th -- |
