That happens a lot, but is NOT a mistake. Michigan (as in state of) City Attorney (as in their job title) is a correct headline. It just looks funny to us because we are used to Michigan City being one thing, and not assuming a break between the words Michigan and City.

Three biggest questions I'm always asked about Michigan City:

1. Why is it called Michigan City even thought it's in Indiana?
2. How long have we had the nuclear power plant?
3. What happens to all the Pop Warner players once they get to high school?

1. A few years ago (actually it was a few decades ago - 1989-1991?) I attended the laser light show that used the cooling tower as a backdrop for the show. I was most entertained by a knowledgeable person in back of me explaining to all in his group that the cooling tower would overflow in the case of a nuclear emergency hence "cooling" off the problem. Everyone in the group nodded in agreement noting that made sense.

2. After explaining the location of Michigan City a lot of smart people have asked me if you could swim across Lake Michigan.
