With Willie Milsap's victory for county commissioner in yesterday that leaves his city council seat vacant. Surely the democrats have prepared in advance for this contingency. Who will take his place?

It seems like there was an article out earlier this month that had the name of who Willie wanted to replace him. It was a female who worked in his office I believe, but I can't remember the name.

She is also a friend of the Mayor's and most likely it has been decided already. I believe she is also appointed by the Mayor and holds a seat on the M.C. Human Rights Commission.
