Are you seriously challenging my own answer to my own trivia question? Because if you are -[i]

Uh.... yeah. The EIC (Executive Investment Corporation consisted of Randy Miller, Joe Alinsky and Alan Wright. They owned the Daisy car wash at 110 School St.

MacCleans car wash was owned by (name eludes me) the same guy who owned Rose Bowl. MacCleans enjoyed a great run. The two locations were behind Rose Bowl - Skwiat Legion Av. and behind Eastgate Plaza at Carroll Av.

BTW - The Barn, currently DeVries Tire was originally Frick Motors. Did anyone mention the softserve business located next to it?

Nope. There were two Daisy car washes for a while. The other one was near Ames Field.

If there were two, Joe A. Would have had me working there too.

Matusak was the name that eluded me.

It was a Daisy for a very short amount of time before they sold it to the guy who turned it into MacCleans.

There was yet another Daisy Car Wash - do you know where it was?

Just talked to one of the members of EIC. The car wash near Ames Field was definitely a Daisy, albeit just for a short amount of time.

There's no shame in being wrong.

A truly benevolent king! If it's actually true, I feel I have learned something. Three, huh? Where was the third?

I wish I found this quiz earlier. Such cool questions.

The third one was somewhere down south - we stopped and took pics of it on our way to Florida one winter.

Name the three late-60's downtown music stores. One featured musical instruments and cameras.

I don't know. But, I liked it best when The Spaghetti Works was there.
They made garlic bread almost as good as the Navajo.

McLeans Car was was a two location franchise. You are correct it was owned by the folks who owned the Rose Bowl and a fellow named George Papenau. I worked there as a part time job in High School. The other location was on East Michigan Blvd. It was wicked work in the winter. Cold Wet and the cars were a mess.
