 Moon Valley, Sale pending? |

Several years ago, Tom Moss tried to sell the land he owns in Moon Valley. For a variety of reasons, including lack of access to it, his efforts did not result in any sale. For the last several days, a couple of guys have been surveying all of Moon Valley.

Back in the mid 60's, my Dad had a chance to buy ALL of Moon Valley from Karwick Road to Lake Hills road for some ridiculous price, like $30k. He's told me the story many times, I need to ask him what the price was again.
I'm curious what kind of survey is being done, metes and bounds or a full on topographical. There are some big dunes back there!    |

Are there any updates on Moon Valley, who purchased it, what the plan is? I have not seen any news at all in the last 4 or 5 months.

I grew up in long Beach and Moon Valley was such a great place to go drinking when we were teenagers. You could get back in there an no one would bother you. You just had to make sure the local cops didn't see you go in or out of that Karwick Road exit. |
