MICHIGAN CITY - The Michigan City Education Association, the Michigan City Educational Employees Association and the Michigan City Classified Association have announced their endorsement of school board candidates Michele Nauyokas, Don Dulaney and Bill Greene.

"We strongly believe these candidates embody the spirit that will best serve our community as partners in education," MCEA President Phyllis Stark said. "Key areas for all of us are open communication, fair and equitable decisions, respect for everyone and most importantly, putting our children first."

Stark said the three unions held a candidate forum and the officers and executive board of all three made the decision on which candidates to endorse.
