I am very happy that she took the offer to be our interm director. Jackie is the backbone of the Y right now.

With the resignation of Bruce Zahn as executive director of the Michigan City Family YMCA to take a job in Highland, Calif., a permanent replacement won't be selected for several months, according to a statement released by the YMCA Thursday.

In the meantime, YMCA program director Jacki Daniel will serve as interim executive director. She can be contacted at 872-9622.

Jacki is a tremednous asset to the MC YMCA. I've had the opportunity to work with her through the "Angels in the Field" program. She's truly committed to ensuring that the patrons of the YMCA have all of their needs met.
