For those of you who are regular movie goers, Charles "Chuck" Plank of Showplace 14 lost his battle with cancer this past week.
Chuck was the ticket taker, and had a great sense of humor, and a huge love of movies. He was an avid motorcyclist, and played Santa at Christmas time. Chuck always had a smile, handshake or hug, and made great dioramas on his ticket podium for each blockbuster.
My husband and I talked to him every weekend, and he was there with us since this theater opened.
He was struggling over the past 6 months particularly, so I'm grateful he's at peace and at rest.
