Michigan City Mainstreet Association is proud to present the Fourth Annual Winter Wonderland and Stained Glass tour on the first three Saturdays in December: the 3rd, 10th, and 17th. The Winter Wonderland Event will take place on Franklin Street in the Uptown Arts District and will create memorable experiences for all ages.

Schedule of events are as follows:

Saturday, December 3rd, 10th, and 17th-

Stained Glass Tours (1-3 p.m.) Featuring all the mystery and enchantment of glass where the beautiful and inspiring illustrations of faith and holiday décor are elegantly displayed at the following churches: First Congregational Church at 531 Washington-St. Paul Lutheran Church & School at 818 Franklin-St.Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church at 109 Ann Avenue-Trinity Episcopal Church at 614 Franklin-and Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church at 411 W. 11th St.
Free photos with Santa at Mainstreet Theater, 807 Franklin St, with free hot chocolate hosted by the Festival Players Guild. (All children will receive a free ticket to Barker Mansion’s Christmas Tour.) 1-4 p.m.
Horse –Drawn Wagon rides along Franklin Street in the Uptown Arts District in cooperation with LaPorte County Draft Horse Association from 1-4 p.m.
Barker Mansion Christmas Tour (various times throughout the day).
Festival Players Guild Wreath Sale- Wreaths range from 16” in diameter to 32” in diameter and are decorated with a bright bow and pine cones.
Special Family Events at Michigan City Public Library

Saturday, December 3rd-Charity Shopping Day (all day). Show your support by helping Michigan City Mainstreet give back to the community.

Saturday, December 10th- Culinary Hop. (3-7p.m.) Featuring12 restaurants in 12 different venues in the Uptown Arts District

Saturday, December 10th and 17th- Ice Sculpting by professional carvers from the Michiana Ice Carvers Association 2-5 p.m.

Saturday December 17th- Chili Night in the Uptown Arts District (3-7 p.m.) Sample 13 different varieties of chili in different venues located in the Uptown Arts District.
