Several area basketball players were selected to play in the Indiana Class Basketball All-Star Classic which will be held at Anderson University on June 20 for juniors and June 21 for seniors.

The area junior girls are Lake Central's Tara Ziotkowski, Michigan City's Michal Miller, E.C. Central's Tiajaney Hawkins, Lake Central's Gina Rubino and Bowman Academy's Joshlynn King.

The local junior boys who were invited were Chesterton's Chris Palombizio and Grant Weatherford and Munster's Drew Hackett.
