Due to continued extreme cold temperatures and snow, the South Shore Line is extending its busing of all train passengers between South Bend and Michigan City into Thursday, Jan. 4, ending after westbound Train 18’s arrival at Carroll Ave. Station. Service is tentatively expected to resume normal operations on Thursday with eastbound Train 9.

Hudson Lake stops will continue to be suspended during this time, and Trains 401, 422 and 424 (between Carroll Ave. and South Bend) will be canceled.

The South Shore Line is working to minimize the impact caused by the severe weather, but some delays are possible. Please check www.mysouthshoreline.com for the latest travel information.
