City officials have begun an outreach program to gather feedback from residents on how the new civic plaza should be utilized to make MC a better place to live, work, and play.

It is a terrible idea.
It won't convince anyone to live here.
It won't attract jobs here.
It will only serve to enrich the very few people who own businesses adjacent to this property.
Our citizens will continue to suffer through a poverty rate at double the national average, a school system that is being robbed by private and surrounding schools, poisoning by lead in their homes, and general disinterest in their well being that is being shown by their local government.
It will be Franklin Square all over again.
