I think the correct answer Tim's looking for is 8th St. Cafe...

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll search for the the name of the person in Grant's Tomb.

nyuk, nyuk.

Bingo! Yeah - the Grant's Tomb thing was what I was going for.

Marram has to acknowledge the answer and deem it correct first.

Hint #1: There is a large half-buried rectangular stone in front of the house that says "M T Krueger."

Hint #2: It would take me 10 seconds to get up from my computer and be able to see it.

In the interest of not dragging this out too much, the answer is: on the north side of the 1500th block of East 8th Street, about one and a half blocks from Memorial Park.

So, next question:

Name the last ten mayors of MC (bonus: in order).

THis quiz has gone belly up. I'm thinking of a new, more fun quiz. Stay tuned!

Post mortem: This quiz has been killed by the constipation of obtuse questions.

Treatment: Lighter questions, easier-to-find answers.

Just to get it started properly, Ang has the conch. Unpunctuated responses have to be checked by her, and She says who is right. Then that person can ask a question, etc.

Here is my answer: mayor who first set aside land for what would become our Washington Park
