I have one. Who was Rotation Slim and where did he hang out? Willie "Rotation" Slim was the original hustler. I believe the Pony Lounge was his hangout. "If a man opens the car door for his wife, it's either a new car or a new wife." - Duke of Edinburgh.

Anne Baxter
I've actually edited the Wikipedia article on MC where she is listed. BTW: Very, very, veeeerrrryyyy disappointed that no one could name our last 10 mayors. A quick visit to City Hall would have resolved that. Lazy butts. "The country needs and, unless I mistake its temper, the country demands bold, persistent experimentation. Here's what I remember - Francis Fedder Randall C. Miller Conrad Kominarek Joe LaRocco ??? Sheila Chuck O. Maybe someone can fill in the blanks.... |

I think Behler served two terms before Shiela. That is correct. I met him too. I think you were gone from SP already, but he came and talked to our eighth grade class with Mrs McCormick. Yeah, I made him upset too with my questions. I guess you could say I started young. |

Sheila Chuck O. Maybe someone can fill in the blanks.... You can't google those ten: I tried. Besides City Hall, not sure where you would look... You guys are missing an "A" for sure. I think a "V" too. I'll stop by City Hall and make sure I give y'all the definitive list tomorrow. That wasn't my question, was it? Ang was supposed to verify my theatrical entry first, right? Whoever asks the question has to verify the correct answer, and "pass the conch," so to speak. Then that person asks the next question, etc.

I'm not the one who asked the theatrical question. I just posted an "arg" cause I remember reading about it but couldn't remember the who. I think it was Stumper's question. (no pun intended)

You're missing Cliff Arnold and Bob Behler, between LaRocco and Sheila. But that's still only 8. That takes us back a long way... To the 50's if my math is right. I think that is pretty impressive for the mostly Gen-X crowd we have around these parts. Once we get answers we should put a post up on the MC Wiki page with the list of mayors. Its kind of a shame that it isn't on there currently. |

Once we get answers we should put a post up on the MC Wiki page with the list of mayors. Its kind of a shame that it isn't on there currently. That's a good idea. You should know there is someone else (Xenophon777) editing there who keeps shooting me (2lakes) down. He didn't like it when I listed Mayor Krueger under "Famous People From Michigan City," and then to appease that person, I created a category called "Leading Citizens of Michigan City," with which he also disagreed. Take a look at the "discussion" and "history" tabs at the top of the page and you'll see what I mean. Still, you're right. I could bring the entire list (all of our mayors), and I think we should try to post it. My question: As a young boy, Mayor Krueger saw which President? I'll check for answers this afternoon. Don't feel bad Marram. Evidently Xenophon, the great historian likes to make lot's of changes, lol.
