I am trying again to upload photos: [No dice. I selected a nice photo and it is in the file attachment box, and I click on the Add this attachment box, waitandwaitandwait, then nothing happens.] Roger, if you want to come over to the house or my office, I can give you a little tutorial on how to post pics. |

After you add the attachment, you have to click to add it into the post, otherwise I think it just hangs around in limbo.

All this talk about the coal tower inspired me to stop and take a couple pics of this pillar from the past
the chute that would convey the coal up Roberts and Schaefer Co. from Chicago designed and built the tower. They're still in business in a similar capacity. One of the two reasons this tower is still standing, it's reinforced to the hilt with steel. It would also require shutting down the line for a couple days. Someday, it'll come down though. looking up through a hole in the ceiling in a back room on to the outside of the conveyor
one of the back rooms was tagged up recently evidently by "Black Sabba" and "BeBop." the conveying chute. Check out the pulley some BIG poison ivy! there is easily a couple hundred pounds of junk steel lieing around this place. Don't tell the scrap thieves! |

Nice study. Well done, CCR. Encounter any ghosts there? Another picture from my vacation at Silver Lake: And a couple sunsets from about stop 37 in MC: "The country needs and, unless I mistake its temper, the country demands bold, persistent experimentation. It is common sense to take a method and try it: If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something."

Silver Lake is a fun place, isn't it? Did you bring any toys to play on the sanddunes with? I've been up there on dirt bikes before, lot's of fun but it's pretty dangerous during the summer. Lot's of guys drinking beer on high power machines = a bad mixture. lol
No ghosts in the tower, the freakiest thing I saw by far was that MONSTER bush of poison ivy. I couldn't look at it too long otherwise I'd start itching. I've already been through two bouts with it this year, one that lasted for a month and required to prescriptions of the nasty drug prednisone. Ugggghhhh. Well done, CCR. Encounter any ghosts there? Silver Lake is a fun place, isn't it? Did you bring any toys to play on the sanddunes with? Great place, been a family vacation spot for us since 1970 -- I've only missed about five times. Just my legs, my daughter, and some free time. "The country needs and, unless I mistake its temper, the country demands bold, persistent experimentation. For PI, try Fluocinonide 0.05% cream, by Rx.

I actually use Fels Naptha. Lather up in cool water, rinse, then lather up again and let this lather dry on the affected area.

Copy the IMG code from Photbucket and paste it in the body of your message. The "IMG Code," directly under the thumbnail photo in photobucket, should look like this -- I'll take out the bracket at the very beginning ( [ )and at the very end ( ] ) so it does not actually show the photo: img]http://i348.photobucket.com/albums/q332/marram_grass/IMG_0249.jpg[/img If you include the brackets, this is what happens: "The country needs and, unless I mistake its temper, the country demands bold, persistent experimentation. It is common sense to take a method and try it: If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something."

Am I the only one with goosebumps?
Now, how can I resize the photo to fit into the screenview? Oh, ho! In photobucket I see there is a button to Edit. However, I can't get to it cuz it would mess up my new upload. The difference between genius and stupidity is that there are limits to genius. Albert Einstein
